The River Café, Hammersmith London

A most celebrated London restaurant refurbishment and re‐opening in October 2008. Co‐owners Ruth Rogers and Rose Gray commissioned SFA  to design a new open kitchen space, with a 'private dining room', and cocktail bar. The significant additions included the front of house kitchen which visually connected the chefs working environment with the public to enhance the appreciation of skills of food preparation and creation.

The new space features a free standing wood burning oven both performing high standard cooking qualities and representing a key visual presence in the space.
